Anything that will make you break a hard sweat. Laundry, cleaning the house, yardwork, exercise. Whatever you prefer. It always helps me clear my head and I often formulate what I'm gonna write while I'm working hard.

That totally makes sense, Ker. It must be why I finally started getting ideas and actually putting them down on paper when I started working my ass off as a cook!

Yeppers! I agree! Some of my best ideas are found while I'm doing something else - like exertion on the body helps squeeze out a brilliant idea!
